Studio Hire
The Loft is Geelong’s premier centre for Dance, Movement & Arts related activities. Vacancies are currently available during the week for suitable arts practitioners to conduct classes, workshops or special events.
The bright airy studio is located just off popular Pakington Street in Newtown, Geelong, just a stroll to the café precinct. The historical industrial mill near the river has been given a new lease of life with a beautiful renovation and abundant natural light. The Loft is available for community hire. Become part of a vibrant & artistic community street.
How does it work?
The studio operates on a session based timetable, each session being of 60min duration. Regular teachers book a term in advance. Each term there are new classes and time slots available. Please contact us if you'd like further hiring information, including current studio availability during the week or to find out more about our reasonable rates.
The space is also available for ‘one-off’ events such as launches, play readings, workshops, theatre rehearsals and intimate performances. Contact us by email or phone to chat about your specific event requirements.
All hirers must have their own insurance (Public Liability). We can direct you to a company if you require cover.
